Culver Palms Women’s Retreat "Take Courage: Grief and Loss in 2020” Saturday, June 27th–2:00pm-4:00pm via Zoom Guest Speaker: Zeena Regis We women of Culver Palms will be in a safe Zoom place to name, explore and lift our pain and losses to Jesus in our time together. Jesus, in his words in John 13:33, exhorts us to be encouraged. He has overcome the world. Our prayers and focus will be on allowing God to be among us and to take on God’s courage. Zeena Regis, our guest speaker, has worked in hospice and palliative care as a chaplain and bereavement coordinator since 2012. In her work, she has developed a passion for offering grief care that integrates storytelling and spiritual practices. Her training includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, where she was honored with the HJ Riddle Memorial Award for excellence in pastoral care. She lives in Decatur with her spouse, nephew, and two spoiled pups.
