SUNDAY MORNING CLASS When: Sundays Time: 9:00am - 9:50am Where: Youth Room Who: Middle School-High School Last Sunday we discussed intercessory prayer and how often we don't actually know what we need, or we confuse our wants with our needs. Intercessory prayer isn't simply telling God what we need & want, rather it is seeking to align our desires with God's good will. It's also trusting that God will give us what we need even if that is not what we always "want". This Sunday we will be looking at the idea of "rest" as prayer. Starting on October 28 we will start a 5-week series on baptism. The class will be co-taught by Sheila Bost, and we will be using Down In The River to Pray by John Mark Hicks and Greg Taylor, and material from Matt Soper as source material for the class. *Please arrive to class no later than 9:30am.
